4) Whether you require your suppliers to only supply the organisation with fresh meat of British origin.
5) Whether you require your suppliers to only supply the organisation with frozen meat of British origin.
6) Whether you require your suppliers to only supply the organisation with meat related products of British origin.
7) Whether you require your suppliers to only supply the organisation with milk of British origin.
8) Whether you require your suppliers to only supply the organisation with milk-related products of British origin.
9) Whether your contracts with organisations that provide catering services or other food related services to your organisation include a clause requiring them to only use/buy British fresh meat.

This request deals with information that The National Archives holds, and that which our contractor (Genuine Dining) holds. Although not subject to FOI, the contractor has fully assisted The National Archives in providing information to enable us to answer your questions. Please find below details of the information we hold in relation to this request:

In relation to the first three questions The National Archives does not hold this information as these details are not part of our contractual arrangements. This has been provided by our contractor.

No we do not require our contractor to provide only meat related products of British origin. However we are aware from the information provided by our contractor that they deal predominantly with British produce and local suppliers.

7) Whether you require your suppliers to only supply the organisation with milk of British origin

No we do not require this. However we are aware from the information our contractor has provided that they only deal with milk from British cattle.

8) Whether you require your suppliers to only supply the organisation with milk-related products of British origin

No we do not require this. However we are aware from the information our contractor has provided that they predominantly deal with British milk related products.

9) Whether your contracts with organisations that provide catering services or other food related services to your organisation include a clause requiring them to only use/buy British fresh meat

No there is no clause in our contract to only use or buy British meat - however we are obligated to meet Government Buying Standards.
