Datasets from the London Borough Council of Hackney
FOI request reference: F0028302
Response sent: June 2011
Please provide a list of the data sets currently returned to your Department by Hackney London Borough Council?
The National Archives does not hold any datasets from the London Borough Council of Hackney. However, we can advise you that the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) publishes a list datasets that all local authorities, including London Boroughs, must return to central government departments. This is referred to as the 'Single Data List' and it can be found on the DCLG website.
The National Archives does receive information from the Borough Council of Hackney's archive service. This information is returned annually by archive services across England and is a response to the Accessions to Repositories survey for each year, listing archive acquisitions for the previous calendar year. This is publicly available information, see the most recent available for Hackney. The 2010 return will shortly be available.
